Steve Reny
Senior Vice President, Business Process and Corporate Development
Steve was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Steelpoint Technologies when the company was acquired by ZANTAZ. With 17 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, leveraged finance, and debt capital markets, he has extensive expertise in managing finance organizations-with a particular focus on SEC reporting, compliance, and operational analysis.
Prior to joining Steelpoint, Steve was Director of Corporate Finance at Fleet Robertson Stephens where he was responsible for new business generation through a combination of activities, including debt capital markets analysis, debt advisory and structuring, and senior loan market research. While there, he authored a number of industry-specific research reports, as well as conducted analyses of the state of the senior bank loan syndications market.
Previously, he held a number of positions within the BankBoston finance group, including managing the Financial Reporting Group and serving as senior finance officer for the Bank's corporate banking, investment banking, and private equity businesses. Steve also spent nearly five years at KPMG Peat Marwick as an auditor, focusing primarily on the financial services and retail industries.
