Meridio Enterprise Document Capture (EDC) is enhanced to capture more types of content, allowing Meridio to take control of content from the critical sources in the Enterprise. As organizations gain control of content, repositories grow in size and scope. Meridio Storage Services for MOSS provides an Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) strategy for MOSS content, thus lowering the cost of storage without a reduction in service or security.

  • Embracing and Extending Microsoft Products
    Meridio 5.0 embraces then extends the new Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Exchange 2007 and Microsoft Vista releases. Meridio leverages the new Records interfaces in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007, exploits Exchange 2007 "Managed Folders" in records categorization, and operates on the new client operating system, Windows Vista.
  • Extending MOSS 2007 to provide rich eDRM
    Meridio brings the rich Records policy that only a hierarchical fileplan represents to MOSS 2007. With Meridio 5.0 and MOSS 2007, organizations can declare records to Meridio with a "single click" and take advantage of the powerful policy, scalability and flexibility of the Meridio system.
  • Exploiting Managed Folders for Records Categorization
    Meridio 5.0 leverages Managed Folders as a Records Categorization tool. In concert with Meridio Enterprise Capture (EDC), Managed Folders delivers email management with the direct cooperation of end users.

  • Policy Replication
    Organizations need to implement consistent policies and procedures. Meridio extends its replication and federation strategy with Fileplan Replication. With Fileplan replication, an enterprise can manage a fileplan centrally, and distribute the fileplan to any site in the organization.
  • Capturing Content from All Sources
    Organizations must manage content from all sources. Meridio EDC has been enhanced to capture content from PST files, making a litigation liability an information resource. An EDC toolkit extends this further to any content source that has a programming interface.
  • Providing an Integrated Content Archiving Environment
    As collaboration environments grow to meet the needs of an organization, so will their content repositories. Meridio Storage Services for MOSS 2007 delivers an ILM capability for the MOSS content repository. Linking content usage and value to storage cost and performance greatly reduces the cost and improves the performance of a MOSS system.
